Fried risotto with mozzarella

You can serve the fried risotto as a warm appetiser or main dish.

The preparation is simple and it takes approximately 50 minutes to make.

 

Preparation

  1. Use any kind of risotto as long as you spread it out so that it cools down.
  2. Take the cooled risotto in your hands and make a hole in the middle where you put the cut mozzarella and form dumplings.
  3. Bread the formed dumplings Viennese style (flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs) and fry them in hot oil. You can enjoy them as a standalone dish or add some sauce (cold or warm).
